This year’s topic was called “Current topics in mechanical design” and was aimed primarily at specific developmental projects and their technical solutions. Program was aimed at sharing experience from specific development projects, inspirational methods, technical solutions, and at future developments in the specific field.
Martin Hau of Škoda Auto began the first set of presentations. He showed something of new Škoda Superb’s development. Radomir Smolka followed with his narration of TATRA Company rescue. David Kollhammer boasted the latest news from Zetor.
In the afternoon Vladimir Losert from DYTRON Company presented implementation of CAD methodologies for one of the global automotive suppliers, Varroc Lighting Systems. According to Vladimir Losert thanks to CAD methodology the company could shorten design times by up to 50%.
The seminar was enriched with exhibition of Škoda Superb’s body, student formula, TATRA 6×6 vehicles, mini model EDAG Cocoon and 3D printing products.
